Russian security forces detained a resident of Abakan in Krasnoyarsk who tried to join Ukrainian forces

At the Krasnoyarsk airport, the FSB of Russia detained a resident of Abakan (Khakassia), who was trying to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the statement of the FSB of Russia: “In the course of investigative actions, it was established that the detainee decided to go over to the side of the enemy and into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and take part in their hostilities.”

The statement states that the man was detained while trying to leave Russia for Ukraine through the territory of one of the CIS countries.

The statement added that the detainee deliberately (as part of his plan) fabricated acts of vandalism against the administrative buildings of the regional authorities in Khakassia, and a criminal case was initiated against him in the internal affairs bodies of the Republic of Khakassia under Part 2 of Art. 214 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. vandalism” of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
