The Russian ambassador to the United States said that Washington continues to “add fuel to the fire” in the Ukrainian conflict and provide additional assistance, noting that in this way it is approaching a dangerous line of confrontation with Russia.
Ambassador Anatoly Antonov added in his post: “Washington continues to add fuel to the fire of the Ukraine conflict … and the allocation of an additional billion dollars to the conflict confirms that the United States does not intend to listen to the voice of reason and logic and will not contribute to a peaceful resolution of the crisis.”
According to the ambassador, the United States is “increasingly drawn in and drawn into the conflict, approaching a dangerous line of confrontation with Russia.”
“Such a line will not bring anything good for peace and security, but will only prolong the suffering of the Ukrainian regime,” Antonov said.
