The press service of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade reported that the production of Russian Evolute electric vehicles will begin in September next year, and the cars will go on sale in the same month.
The press service said that the new electric car will participate in the programs launched by the government to support the auto industry in Russia.
She said that the car will participate in the auto licensing program (financial lease loan) and preferential lending programs, which offer a 35% discount, provided that the discount does not exceed 925 thousand rubles.
The Evolute is a Russian electric car that will be produced at a plant in the Russian city of Lipetsk, with characteristics similar to the Chinese Sokon SF5 electric car.
It is planned to produce more than 242 thousand cars, and the project will require investments of more than 13 billion rubles (about 224 million dollars).
