Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN Dmitry Polyansky said that his country had requested a meeting of the UN Security Council on the issue of arms supplies to Kyiv on June 29.
Polyansky said: “Today we asked for hearings on June 29 on Western arms supplies to Ukraine and their implications for diplomatic efforts to resolve the Ukrainian crisis.”
The session is expected to start at 22:00 Moscow time.
