Roskosmos reveals the date of publication of satellite images of the special operation

Director General of the Russian Space Agency Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin said that the agency will not publish satellite images of the areas of the special operation in Ukraine until it is completed.

“We will not publish anything until the president announces the end of the operation,” Rogozin added in a statement released by Russian media.

Rogozin noted that at the beginning of the special operation at the end of February, cyber attacks on the data processing center of Russian space systems were recorded, but the matter was resolved.

At the beginning of 2022, the protection of these resources, as well as satellite mission control centers, was strengthened.

On the eve of the NATO summit in Madrid, Roskosmos published pictures of Western “decision centers” taken from the Russian Resurs-P satellite, and these pictures showed the White House, the Pentagon in Washington and the IFEMA conference center in Madrid . The summit, the British Ministry of Defence, the Reichstag and the Federal Chancellery are held in Berlin, as well as the Elysee Palace in Paris. Subsequently, the Roscosmos website was subjected to a DDoS attack and was intercepted.
