Riyad Mahrez flips the table with Manchester City on Tottenham

Manchester City are two goals behind to beat Tottenham Hotspur 4-2 on Thursday night in the postponed Premier League matchday seven.

The hosts advanced with two goals late in the first half, scored by Sweden’s Diana Koloszewski and Brazil’s Emerson in two minutes (44 and 45 respectively).

Manchester City hit back with four consecutive goals in the second half.

Argentine striker Julián Alvarez pulled one back in the 51st minute, and just two minutes later fellow Norwegian striker Erling Haaland equalized.

And then Algerian winger Riyad Mahrez scored two goals in a row in two minutes (63 and 90) of the time of the match, which took place at Tottenham Stadium in metropolitan London.

Defending champions Manchester City have raised their tally to 42 points from this valuable victory and stand out in second place in the standings, closing the gap to 5 points between themselves and leaders Arsenal, who also have a rescheduled match.

On the other hand, the Tottenham team suffered a second defeat in a row, and their score stopped at 33 points, which they scored in 20 matches, and are fifth in the Premier League rankings.
