Real Madrid legend says he’s gay

Legendary Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas came out as gay in a post he posted on his Twitter account today, Sunday.

Casillas wrote: “I hope that I will be respected … I am the same as myself.”

Many social media pioneers reacted to the news and many found it shocking.

Casillas is considered the best goalkeeper in the history of Real Madrid and Spanish football, as he joined the royal team at the age of nine and defended the white shirt for 25 years in various age groups.

Casillas has won the Spanish Championship 5 times, the European Champions League 3 times, the European Super Cup 2 times and the Spanish Super Cup 4 times.

The 41-year-old left Real Madrid in 2015 and moved to Porto.

It should be noted that support for anomalies has increased significantly recently, especially in the football world.
