Ukraine: 13 vessels with agricultural products left our ports today

The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine reported that as part of the implementation of the “grain deal”, 13 ships with more than 200,000 tons of agricultural products sailed from the ports of the country on Sunday.

“On October 9, 13 ships left the ports of Odessa, Yuzhny and Chernomorsk in the direction of the countries of Africa, Asia and Europe with 230.7 thousand tons of agricultural products,” the ministry said via Telegram.

The message added that since the beginning of the work of the “grain corridor” on 305 ships, 6.8 million tons of Ukrainian food products have been exported to the countries of Asia, Europe and Africa.

On July 22, multilateral agreements were signed in Istanbul on lifting restrictions on the supply of Russian products for export and on Russia’s assistance in the export of Ukrainian grain.

This agreement, signed by representatives of Russia, Turkey, Ukraine and the UN, provides for the export of Ukrainian grain, food and fertilizer across the Black Sea from three ports, including Odessa.

Russian President Vladimir Putin earlier criticized the implementation of the grain deal, “noting that European countries continue to act as colonialists and once again deceive developing countries, since most of the Ukrainian grain supply is exported to the European Union, and not to poor countries. countries as agreed at the competitions.
