Putin visited the International Boxing and Sambo Center in Moscow

Today, Saturday, Russian President Vladimir Putin visited the International SAMBO Center and the International Boxing Center at the Luzhniki sports complex in the capital, Moscow.

The President of Russia, accompanied by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin and other officials, toured the training halls and the Sambo Museum, and also attended the finals of the Sambo Stars League Cup and the opening of the Moscow International Cup as part of the World Boxing League.

The construction of this sports complex was completed this year, and the building consists of seven floors with an area of ​​45.6 thousand square meters and unites the International Boxing Center and the International Sambo Center under one roof.

The facility was developed jointly by the International Sambo Federation and the Moscow Boxing Federation.

The building has a sloping glass roof with an optical effect and stained glass windows that allow you to watch the workout even from the street.

It is the first time such an architectural technique has been applied at a sports facility in Moscow.
