Putin: Sanctions against children of Russian officials "schizophrenia"

Russian President Vladimir Putin called the imposition of sanctions against minor children of Russian officials schizophrenia.

“I think it’s schizophrenia, it seems to me they don’t understand what they are doing,” Putin said at the conference, answering a journalist’s question about the sanctions imposed on the minor children of the President of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov.

The United States imposed sanctions against Kadyrov and his family. The sanctions list, in addition to the President of the Chechen Republic, included his wife Medni Kadyrova and his children Aisha Kadyrova, Khadizhat Kadyrova and Tabarik Kadyrova.
