Putin affirms Russia’s continued commitment to Ukraine negotiations

Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed that Moscow has never backed out of talks on Ukraine and that the Kiev regime has placed various obstacles to prevent talks at the behest of its sponsors in the West.

Putin explained that the Ukrainian side thwarted all peace initiatives, and an agreement was reached in Istanbul and an official peace document was prepared, but Kyiv renounced it and renounced it at the behest of its foreign sponsors.

Putin stressed that Russia is open to dialogue with everyone who wants peace, provided that the interests of all parties are taken into account.

Putin’s statement came during a meeting he held today in St. Petersburg with a delegation of African leaders who arrived from Kyiv to discuss their initiative to resolve the Ukraine.

The African delegation includes South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, Senegalese President Maki Sall, Comoros President Ghazali Osmani, Zambian President Hakinde Hichilema, Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, as well as representatives of Uganda and Congo.
