Photo of Putin, Erdogan and my President horrifies German Foreign Minister

German Foreign Minister Annaline Beerbock criticized Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for taking a picture with Russian and Iranian Presidents Vladimir Putin and Ebrahim Raisi.

“The fact that the Turkish president is in this photo is, to put it mildly, a challenge to NATO,” the German foreign minister told the Bild newspaper, adding that the issue was “simply incomprehensible.”

Commenting on accusations by the Bundestag (the German parliament) of “slowing down” the supply of weapons to Kyiv, Beerbock said that Germany “is not pursuing the goal of deceiving its European neighbors.”

“We can’t deliver tanks at the tip of our fingers,” Beerbock added.

Earlier, the Presidents of Russia, Turkey and Iran Vladimir Putin, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Ibrahim Raisi met in Tehran, held trilateral talks and took a joint photo.

The Ukrainian authorities constantly turned to Western countries with a request to supply them with weapons, while Kyiv accused Germany of being too slow in supplying it with weapons.
