Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Russian special forces are doing everything necessary to ensure security on May 9 during the Victory Day celebrations.
Asked if the Kremlin sees security threats, provocations and sabotage that may occur on May 9, Peskov added: “The security forces are taking all measures to prevent any incidents during the celebration of Victory Day.”
On Tuesday, May 9, 2023, a military parade will be held in honor of the victory over fascism in the Great Patriotic War.
Three rehearsals of last year’s Victory Parade were held on Red Square, cars drove through the streets of Moscow on April 29 and May 4, and a dress rehearsal on May 7.
