Today, Monday, US police said one person was killed and two were injured in a shooting that took place in a commercial area in downtown Atlanta, Georgia.
Police said “the incident is still active and that its officers are looking for a suspect, believed to be a woman,” while asking residents to stay off the streets in the vicinity of the crash site.

On August 22, 2022, at around 1:45 pm, officers answered a call at 1280 W. Peachtree Street. Upon arrival, law enforcement officers found two people who appeared to have been shot dead. One of the victims died.

In a news update, the police announced on Twitter via Twitter that the suspect had been arrested.
JUST IN: The APD just confirmed to me that one of the three who were shot died. The police suspect that the woman was the shooter. They’re not sure if she’s gone or is still in the area.

According to information, the suspect was detained at the airport in Atlanta.
