Oil Prices Fall Amid Fears of Financial Crisis

Oil prices continued to decline in trading today, Tuesday, in light of market volatility due to fears of a financial crisis after the collapse of the Silicon Valley bank.

And by 09:55 Moscow time, futures for US West Texas Intermediate oil fell 1.11% to $73.97 per barrel.

At the same time, futures for Brent crude fell 1.04% to $79.93 per barrel, according to Bloomberg data.

Yesterday, black gold prices recorded a decline of more than 2%, as US crude ended trading down 2.4% to $78.34 a barrel and Brent oil closed at $80.77 a barrel, falling to $80.77 per barrel.
