Moscow: We will accept an adequate response to the restriction of Russia’s entry by the Baltic countries

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that Moscow will respond to the Baltic countries by restricting the entry of Russians, and that Russia, despite this, will not prevent Europeans from visiting it so that they can see Russia and its civilization with their own eyes.

“I want to say again that we will definitely respond, but in a way that does not harm the interests of Russia and its citizens,” Zakharova said.

Zakharova stressed that Russia’s response would be considered and that Moscow would not close its doors to EU citizens.

“Everyone who wants to visit Russia and see with his own eyes its cultural and civilizational originality will have the opportunity to do so,” she said.
