The chairman of the board of directors of the Egyptian football club Zamalek, Mortada Mansour, has revealed the salary of Ahmed Syed Zizou after extending his contract with the white team for another three seasons.
Mortada Mansour said during statements on the Zamalek channel that “Zizou’s salary is 15 million (Egyptian) pounds per season, and not 25 million as reported.”
The president of Zamalek revealed that the team has 8 new deals in the new season, unlike the new players who participated yesterday in the match that the white team lost 1-4 on penalties against Al Hilal Saudi Arabia in the Super Lusail Cup.
The new duo of Zakaria Al-Wardi and Ibrahim Nadai took part in the match between Zamalek and Al-Hilal.
Mortada Mansour sent a message to the fans: “Rejoice, O fans of Zamalek, for your team and coach, and God willing, we will win the next league.”
Regarding the loss from Al Hilal, Mortada Mansour said: “We have not lost anything and I thank Al Hilal for their respect.”
