More than 10 thousand people were cut off from electricity due to the Ukrainian bombing of the Zaporozhye region

Volodymyr Rogov, a member of the Main Council of the Military-Civilian Administration of the Zaporozhye region, confirmed that more than 10,000 residents were cut off from electricity after the Ukrainian bombardment of the nuclear power plant.

He said more than 10,000 people are currently without power as power was cut in two districts. Electricity is being repaired and is expected to be back soon.

Rogov added that as a result of the bombing, a fire broke out on the territory of the nuclear power plant, which was extinguished.

The Russian Defense Ministry reported that Ukrainian forces bombed the territory of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.

And the Russian defense warned that artillery shelling by the Ukrainian army of the territory of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant could lead to a major fire and a radiation accident.
