Health Minister of the Lugansk Republic Natalya Bachenko said that Ukrainian armed forces burned down the maternity hospital where they were stationed in Severodonetsk before releasing it from their occupation.
Bashenko, who visited Severodonetsk and Lysichansk on Monday, said in a statement to the Russian TASS news agency that Ukrainian militias stationed at the maternity hospital in Severodonetsk burned them down as they retreated.
She added that the head doctor at the hospital said that the equipment in the hospital was intact, and the militants were asked to leave, but they doused them with fuel and deliberately set fire to the hospital.
