Mbappe insists on selling Neymar because of Messi

French network GFFN has indicated that Kylian Mbappe asked the management of his club Paris Saint-Germain to drop the Brazilian Neymar when renewing his contract at the end of last season.

The network added that Mbappe believes that the stadium can only withstand the attacking duo after the arrival of Lionel Messi last summer from Barcelona.

She also mentioned that the French player, who is considered to have learned a lot from Neymar over the past five years, is now only focused on learning from Lionel Messi.

And the GFFN pointed out that the crisis between Mbappe and Neymar has exacerbated the Brazilian player’s brilliance in the Paris side’s first three matches earlier this season.

She noted that the two PSG stars quickly formed a friendship as soon as they joined the team in the summer of 2017, but things soured between them during the first six months of this year.

Since Mbappé did not feature in the first French league match for the Paris side, Messi recovered and Neymar regained his scoring memory.

French newspapers pointed out that the victory of the Paris team Claire Mont underlined the great spirit of harmony between Messi and his former Barcelona teammate Neymar in Mbappe’s absence.

It is noteworthy that Paris Saint-Germain tied the duo Mbappe and Neymar with two contracts until the summer of 2025.

Neymar’s contract also provides for an automatic extension until the summer of 2027.
