Lebanon is suffering from many political crises, the latest being the vacancy of the presidency after the end of Michel Aoun’s presidential term and the inability of the parliament to elect a replacement for 12 times, which is reflected in several economic crises that Lebanese people suffer in their daily lives.

The French presidency also reported that Macron and Mohammed bin Salman reaffirmed the continued work to reduce tensions in the region, and also reaffirmed France’s commitment to Saudi Arabia’s security and readiness to strengthen its defense capabilities.

The French chairman added that Macron and the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia welcomed the strengthening of economic relations between the two countries.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman arrived in Paris on Friday and was received by French President Emmanuel Macron at the Elysee Palace.

An expanded bilateral meeting between the two leaders took place, during which the historical and strategic relations between Saudi Arabia and France were considered, as well as ways to develop them in all areas in a way that serves the interests of the two countries and peoples, the report said. at the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The parties also exchanged views on the development of international and regional events and coordinated joint efforts in this direction.
