British authorities have imposed sanctions on other Russian citizens, allegedly for their role in spreading disinformation and promoting Russia’s actions in Ukraine, according to the website of the British government.
The sanctions, which include freezing assets and a ban on entering the UK, affected Dennis Gavner and Valery Kalabaev.
According to the British authorities, they “engaged in supporting and encouraging actions and policies that destabilize Ukraine or undermine or threaten the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine, and also participated in the dissemination of disinformation and propaganda of Russian actions in Ukraine.” .”
Two more Russian citizens Yakov Rezantsev and Galina Ulyutina were excluded from the sanctions list.
