Lewandowski responds to Paris Saint-Germain offer

Bayern Munich striker Polish international Robert Lewandowski has decided on his next destination if he leaves the Bavarian giants this summer.

And German newspaper Sport Bild has confirmed that Lewandowski has refused to negotiate to join either Paris Saint-Germain or Chelsea this summer’s Mercato because he prefers a move to Barcelona.

The newspaper added that the Polish striker wants Barcelona and nothing else, which is why the Bayern forward refuses to negotiate with other clubs interested in him.

For its part, French network RMC reported that Lewandowski’s name was mentioned in a conversation between Louis Campos, Saint Germain’s new sports adviser, and Benny Zahavi, the Polish player’s agent, during their meeting last June.

She pointed out that Campos appreciates the Polish striker very much, but his discussions with Zahavi did not cover other issues about the Bayern Munich star.

Previously, Lewandowski had publicly expressed his desire to leave Bayern Munich for Barcelona, and the Spanish club moved to sign the Polish striker, sending three offers, all of which were rejected.

According to press reports, the German club is awaiting an offer of 50 million euros in exchange for agreeing to sell Lewandowski a year before his contract expires (summer 2023).
