The Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine announced that the Kyiv authorities will begin a program to purchase a large number of reconnaissance drones and train their operators.
The program will be called “Army of Drones”.
“We will assemble an army of drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In order to strengthen the army and save the lives of thousands of soldiers, the General Staff, the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the UNITED24 platform intend to launch the Drone Army project,” the agency wrote on its Telegram channel under the heading “The Eye for the Military”.
According to her, this is a comprehensive program that provides for the regular purchase of drones, their rapid repair and replacement, as well as a training course for their leaders.
