Paris Saint-Germain, champions of the French Football League, officially signed Porto midfielder Venetia on Friday as part of the Paris club’s first contract of the new season.

The media estimated the value of the deal with the 22-year-old player at about 40 million euros for a period of five years.

“I finished my best season at Porto, won titles and managed to become an international and that was my dream,” the newcomer told the Parisian club’s website.

“I want to keep improving, I want to do it here and keep winning titles,” he added.

Vitor Machado Ferreira “Vitina” is one of the sons of formative center Porto who was loaned out to Wolves for the 2020-21 season.

Vitina returned to Porto last season and established himself in the centre, where he played 47 games scoring 4 goals and 5 assists to contribute to his team’s league and cup wins in Portugal.
