President of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov said that a division of the Chechen special forces under the command of Sultan Rashaev launched a successful offensive on the front of the Kherson region.
“The division of our fighters, led by an experienced Chechen commander, Sultan Rashaev, carried out a successful attack along the front line in the Kherson region,” Kadyrov said in a Telegram.
He noted that the city of Energodar, where the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant is located, is well protected by the Chechen military.
He pointed out that Energodar is under “almost continuous attacks from the Nazis, as they bomb infrastructure, residential buildings, social facilities and even high-risk facilities such as factory reactors.”
He considered Energodar one of the most difficult lands for Chechen troops to defend.
He stressed that the fighters have all the weapons, equipment and ammunition they need to complete their tasks, no matter how difficult they may be.
He said: “No one questions the high combat capabilities of our fighters and their professionalism.”
