Johnson takes over "parting gift" (painting)

British network Sky News reported that members of the government were involved in buying a “parting gift” for outgoing Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

The gift was the books of Winston Churchill, the former Prime Minister of Great Britain.

On the other hand, the British media reported that the second round of discussion of candidates for the post of British Prime Minister dealt a blow to Johnson, as everyone was silent about his future.

According to The Independent, none of the candidates were willing to give the sitting prime minister a seat in government, asking them to raise their hands if they wanted to include Johnson on their team, but no one did.

The newspaper “Express” described what was happening as a “humiliating blow.”
