Leicester City Football Club have announced the departure of Danish goalkeeper and captain Kasper Schmeichel from the team during the current summer transfer period.
Leicester City released a statement on their official website announcing Kasper Schmeichel’s departure and said: “After 11 years at Leicester City, Kasper Schmeichel has moved to Nice, ending a great period he has had at Foxes.

And Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers previously confirmed that Kasper Schmeichel would allow him to leave if he could find another team, although his contract has been extended until 2023.
