Israel… approves the construction of 4,000 housing units for settlements in the West Bank and Jerusalem

Israeli media reported that last night the Higher Settlement Planning and Building Council approved the final construction of 4,000 housing units in settlements in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem.

And according to the website of the newspaper Haaretz, the board met again last night and approved the construction of 4,000 new units after it approved 3,000 units on Wednesday night.

According to the site, 7,287 housing units have been approved for construction in the past two days, the highest number of village housing units approved in the past two years.
