Iraq opens air route with Iran

Today, Friday, the Najaf International Airport in central Iraq announced that it had received the first flight of the Iranian Sakha airline with 70 passengers on board from the Iranian city of Isfahan.

A message from the airport on its Facebook page states: “Najaf Al-Ashraf International Airport received the first Saha Airlines flight and the aircraft made its first landing in Najaf Al-Ashraf land with 70 passengers arriving from the city of Isfahan. The airport administration accepted the flight crew and their passengers in accordance with the protocol for accepting airlines on their first flights, which is applied internationally.
