Pashinyan discussed security in the Caucasus with the director of the Central Intelligence Agency

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Director of the US Central Intelligence Agency William Burns and discussed regional security issues with him.

“The parties discussed issues related to international and regional security, as well as the fight against terrorism,” the office of the Prime Minister of Armenia said in a statement released on Friday.

The statement added that Pashinyan and Burns “also discussed ongoing operations in the South Caucasus.”

It is noteworthy that the director of the US Central Intelligence Agency arrived in Yerevan on Friday without notifying the US embassy in Armenia.
