The Government of Kuwait has commissioned the Noble Quran Printing and Publication Concern to print 100,000 copies of the Quran translated into Swedish for distribution in Sweden.

And the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported that “based on directives from the Prime Minister, the Holy Quran Printing and Publishing Supervision Authority has been instructed to print 100,000 copies of the Holy Quran translated into Swedish for distribution in Sweden, with the aim of confirming tolerance for Islamic religion and spreading of Islamic values ​​and coexistence among people”.

This came after Sloan Momika, an extremist Swede of Iraqi descent, earlier, under the protection of the authorities and in front of about 200 Muslims, tore up the Koran and burned it near the main mosque in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. .
