Ukraine announced today, Tuesday, the formation of an “alliance” of 11 countries to train its pilots in the F-16 fighter jets that Kyiv is demanding to support its counteroffensive.
“It is possible to create an alliance for training the Ukrainian Air Force on F-16 fighters! Today, 11 partner countries and Ukraine signed a memorandum,” Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov wrote on Twitter.
This coalition includes the UK, Canada and European countries, Agence France Presse reports.
It is noteworthy that Ukraine suffered heavy losses during its counterattack, as Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said today, Tuesday, since the beginning of this strike, Ukraine’s losses amounted to more than 26,000 servicemen and 3,000 pieces of various weapons.
