Guests evacuated from the most expensive hotel in Europe after a fire in the Greek Peloponnese

Emergency services have evacuated guests from the luxurious Amanzoe Hotel in Kranidi, the Greek city of the Peloponnese, due to a fire, local media reported.

On Monday evening, the Greek Fire Service reported that a fire had broken out in a forest in the Korakia Kranidi region, and ground and air forces were dispatched to put out the fire.

The fire broke out in the Korakia pine forest area, next to the luxurious Amanzoe hotel complex. According to the local website argolikeseidhseis.gr, the staff and guests of the complex have been evacuated.

Amanzoe is the most expensive hotel in Europe, consisting of individual villas with private pools. As reported on the website of the hotel, located on the east coast of the Peloponnese, near Porto Heli, no rooms are available until September. In September, prices start at 1,850 euros per night and go up to 11,000 euros.
