Germany defeats France and sets up a meeting with England in the final. "euro ladies"

Germany faced their English counterpart in the UEFA Women’s European Football Championship final after beating France 2-1 in the semi-finals of the tournament currently taking place in England.

Alexandra Pope scored two goals for Germany in the 40th and 76th minutes, while Germany’s Merle Frooms scored France’s only goal with an own goal in the 44th minute.

Germany will play in the final match scheduled for this coming Sunday at Wembley Stadium in London’s capital against England, who qualified at the expense of Sweden, beating them four unanswered.
