German police have identified a man who defaced a poster hanging on the spire of the Potsdam Church in solidarity with Ukraine.

The suspect, who is 40 years old, cut out the woman’s face on the poster and replaced it with a banner reading “Ukraine does not exist.” And the Deutsche Welle account posted a photo of the poster before it was distorted.
