The Russian gas company Gazprom reported that gas exports to non-CIS countries, including Europe, fell by 31% to 68.9 billion cubic meters in the first half of the year.
This is stated in a report published by the Russian company in its Telegram channel today, Friday.
The data also showed that Gazprom’s exports to China through the Power of Siberia pipeline increased by 63.4% in the first six months of this year.
As for gas production, the Russian company said that its production of blue fuel decreased by 8.6% to 238.4 billion cubic meters in the first half of this year.
She noted that in the first half of 2009, world gas consumption decreased by 24 billion cubic meters.
