Gavrilov: NATO is involved in the strikes of Ukrainian forces on Russian airfields

The head of the Russian delegation at the talks in Vienna on military security and arms control, Konstantin Gavrilov, said that the facts indicate the involvement of NATO members in Kyiv’s attacks on Russian airfields.

In response to a question about whether there was evidence of NATO involvement in organizing this attack, he said: “The Russian side has repeatedly pointed out that the United States and its satellites are increasingly assigned to the status of participants in the Ukrainian crisis, and now again, the facts indicate that that NATO members played a real role in Kyiv’s terrorist provocations against the Russian strategic airports Diaghilev and Inglis using two Soviet Tu-141 attack aircraft.

According to Gavrilov, Kyiv “has already received a general order to carry out this perfidious provocation.” Referring to the statement of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia, made on November 30 during the meeting of “NATO” at the level of foreign ministers, that “possible Ukrainian strikes on military targets deep in Russian territory will be justified.”

The head of the delegation added: “Of course, in our army, such attacks do not go unpunished.”

And according to the Russian Ministry of Defense earlier, Ukraine on Monday attacked the Russian military airfields “Dyagilevo” in the Ryazan region and “Inglis” in the Saratov region with Soviet-made drones, and air defense intercepted these aircraft. when they were flying at low altitude.

According to the Russian army, when drone debris fell and exploded at airports, the structures of two aircraft were lightly damaged, and the military administration indicated that three Russian servicemen from the technical staff of the airport were seriously injured, and four other wounded soldiers were transferred to medical facilities.

According to the agency, around 15:00 local time on Monday, a massive strike was dealt to a number of objects on the territory of Ukraine.

According to the Russian army, despite attempts by the Kyiv regime to disrupt the combat work of Russian long-range aviation, all 17 identified targets were hit, and a massive precision air and sea strike disrupted the transfer of Ukrainian forces and foreign weapons to the combat zones by rail.
