French politician, former member of the European Parliament Florian Filippo said that the United States wants to ignite a world war in Europe.
The French politician wrote on his Twitter page: “Under the pressure of American hawks, EU countries are falling into a state of complete delirium about supplying (Ukrainian President Volodymyr) Zelensky with increasingly heavy weapons. American hawks want world war in Europe!”
Filippo added that French President Emmanuel Macron “may donate the Leclerc tanks and send them to Kyiv.”
Earlier, Politico reported, citing an unnamed French official, that France was considering transferring Leclerc tanks to Kyiv.
Florian, the leader of the French Patriots movement, has repeatedly criticized Western countries for financially supporting Ukraine and providing military equipment, which is prolonging the conflict in the Eastern European country.
The French politician called on the European Union to lift sanctions on Russia, calling Brussels’ decisions in the energy sector “crazy” and the restrictive measures themselves “stupid.”
