Former Pentagon adviser Douglas McGregor has warned that Ukraine is hanging by a thread and coming to an end, and nothing can help it.
In an interview with Judging Freedom, he said: “Ukraine is lost. Ukraine is hanging by a thread in the worst sense of the word. This is a disaster… No supply will change anything. Too late, this is the end.”
He noted that due to the Ukrainian conflict and the split within NATO, many Western countries are in a state of despair.
He continued: there is no way out, except to “negotiate and achieve the possible,” because Kyiv is not in a position to dictate any conditions to Moscow.
Earlier, McGregor said that a large number of desertions in the Ukrainian forces had been recorded, and Ukrainian citizens were fleeing the country en masse.
He pointed out that dissatisfaction with the policies of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is growing among Ukrainians.
