Explosions near a hydroelectric power station in the Zaporozhye region

Footage circulated on the Internet, which, according to users, was near the Dniester hydroelectric power station in Chernivtsi, Zaporozhye region, and eyewitnesses had previously reported explosions.

For his part, Vladimir Rogov, a member of the Main Directorate of the Administration of the Zaporozhye Region, said that a substation near the hydroelectric power station had been bombed. Earlier, Rogov stated that the station was mined in the first days of March, and Kyiv provocatively planned to destroy the station, which would cause an uncontrolled discharge of water.

According to experts, if this happens, waves on the water can reach a height of 20 meters and cover the coastal part of the city of Zaporozhye at a speed of more than 60 kilometers per hour. And the flow of water after the explosion could reach the nuclear power plant in Zaporozhye and flood its territory.
