A number of European countries commented on the alleged incident with the fall of two Russian missiles on the territory of Poland, emphasizing their solidarity with Warsaw.
Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite expressed her country’s full solidarity with Poland, emphasizing “the importance of protecting every centimeter of NATO territory.”
For her part, Norwegian Foreign Minister Ankin Huitfeldt said: “The incident with Russian missiles in Poland is very serious.”
Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Renkovis stressed that “Russian missiles hitting the territory of a NATO member state is unacceptable, and this is a very dangerous escalation.”
The Estonian Foreign Ministry said that her country is ready to defend every inch of NATO territory, and expressed full solidarity with Poland.
