The Russian embassy in Washington said the US prefers to remain silent about the protectionist restrictions imposed by its European successors on agricultural products from Ukraine.
The embassy said: “Fearing competition from cheap grain from Ukraine, the American satellites in Europe decided to put protectionist barriers to agricultural products from the “sponsored” republic, and for some reason the administration prefers to keep silent about this.”
The diplomatic mission added that the West, in the spirit of “rooted neo-colonial habits,” cares only about its own well-being and is afraid of competition with cheap grain from Ukraine.
