Brazil’s Neymar, the star of France’s Paris Saint-Germain football team, panicked after his private jet had to make an emergency landing in the northern Brazilian city of Boa Vista.
And the O Globo daily newspaper pointed out on its website that the plane flying from Miami to Sao Paulo (southeast) was supposed to land in Boa Vista around 2:00 am (5:00 GMT) to avoid “the problem of low pressure” due to a problem with the windshield, according to Brazilian media.
Neymar, who spends his annual holiday after a difficult and disappointing season at Paris Saint-Germain, was accompanied by his girlfriend Bruna Biancardi, his sister Rafaela and many other close people.
“I thank everyone for the messages, but it’s okay, we’re driving home, it was just a panic,” Neymar said in an Instagram video.
Earlier, Neymar posted a photo with his sister Rafaela on the runway next to the plane.
The Brazilian star also shared a photo taken from an airplane overlooking the American city of Miami as she returned from a vacation in the US.
Neymar previously bought an Embraer Legacy 450 for £10m, but it’s not clear if that was the intended aircraft.
