USAID Administrator Samantha Power said Ukraine’s costs in the context of the ongoing conflict are between $5 billion and $6 billion a month.
“The latest estimate is that the monthly cost of this government, which has to deal with the ongoing war, is between $5 billion and $6 billion,” Power said Tuesday at a meeting with the World Bank president.
The authorities called the costs “shocking”.
She stressed that the $7.5 billion that the US administration is providing to Ukraine is “not enough.”
