The official representative of the Egyptian Foreign Ministry, Ahmed Abu Zeid, confirmed on the x platform: The activities of Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry continue on the sidelines of his participation in the UN General Assembly, where he met with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov.

He continued: We appreciate the “continuing ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries at all levels, eighty years of diplomatic relations between Egypt and Russia.”
