Egypt witnesses an unprecedented surge in gold prices

Today, Friday, the price of gold continues to be at an all-time high in Egypt as 21 carats and the gold pound jumped to their highest levels during morning trading.

Today, the price of a pound of 21 carat gold is up 280 from the price of a pound yesterday, Thursday, in jewelry stores, and is currently selling for 18,240 pounds, and has reached 18,000 pounds when bought.
Today the price of 24 carat gold has risen again from yesterday’s Thursday, so today a gram is selling at 2606 pounds, and if bought, it reached 2582 pounds.

The price of 21 karat gold jumped to its highest level in jewelery stores this morning, with one gram currently selling for £2,280, and if purchased it reaches £2,260 and is considered the jewelers’ best-selling caliber. shops in the south of Upper Egypt.

The price of 18 carat gold also rose during morning trading today from yesterday’s Thursday to reach £1,955 to sell and £1,931 to buy, and is considered the best-selling caliber in jewelry stores in Cairo and Lower Egypt.

However, the price of a gram of 14 carat gold today recorded a new high of 20 pounds compared to yesterday’s prices on Thursday, and this morning it reaches 1520 pounds to sell and 1500 pounds to buy.

While the world price of gold stabilized in dollars during trading this morning, Friday, April 14, 2023, on world exchanges, an ounce of gold was sold today at the 2019 dollar, and in the case of a purchase, it reached the 2017 dollar.
