Egypt.. the pound falls against the dollar to a record level for the first time in 5 years

The price of the Egyptian pound against the dollar fell to its lowest level in 5 years at 18.91 pounds in state-owned banks, including Al-Ahly Bank and Egypt.

The fall of the Egyptian pound came after the dollar rose to its highest level in 20 years against some international currencies, including the euro and the Japanese yen.

The price of the European currency euro has stabilized against the US dollar in today’s trading, while traders are guided by the recently released US data, which confirmed the rise in US inflation to 9.1% at its highest level in 40 years. and the price of the euro was equal against the US dollar.

The price of the dollar in Kishan rose against the pound in the National Bank of Egypt and Egypt to its lowest level since 2016.
