Two people died as a result of shelling by Ukrainian troops of residential areas and quarters, as well as a school in the city of Gorlovka of the Donetsk People’s Republic.

The mayor of the city, Ivan Prikhodko, said: “Unfortunately, another civilian from Gorlovka died at the hands of Ukrainian bombing in the village of Kalininsky district of Gorlovka. The body was found on Shvydkovo Street.”

Earlier on Wednesday morning, Prikhodko said that a woman had been injured in the village of Rumyantsevo, Kalininsky district of Gorlovka. She died later.

The mayor said that the Ukrainian bombing also hit a school in the village of Kalininsky district.

The representative office of the Donetsk People’s Republic at the Joint Center for Monitoring and Coordination of War Crimes in Ukraine (JCCC) reported that Ukrainian forces attacked the Kalininsky district of Gorlovka on Wednesday morning, firing 10 152-mm shells. .

Styroll’s chemical and coal mines are located in Gorlovka, 50 kilometers north of Donetsk. This is one of the largest cities in the Donetsk Republic.

Ukrainian forces continue to bomb residential areas and infrastructure on a daily basis in all regions of the Donetsk Republic.
