Denmark Discusses Significant Donation to Ukraine

The Danish Ministry of Defense has announced that German-made Danish Leopard 1 tanks will soon be ready for shipment to Ukraine.

The agency said that Acting Defense Minister Trolls Lund Poulsen and several MPs visited the Flensburger Wahrzogbau Gesellschaft plant in Flensburg, where military equipment destined for Ukraine is being prepared.

“This is a big and important gift that has received wide support from other parliamentary parties, and we hope that it will pass to Ukraine very soon,” Lund Poulsen said.

This is being done within the framework of an agreement concluded in early February between Germany, Denmark and the Netherlands on the supply of at least 100 Leopard 1 A5 tanks to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
